1. Dog Agility Competition of Florida (DACOF)

The DACOF is a dog-friendly event typically held at the end of June or the beginning of July every year. It is an agility team competition, which is not sanctioned by any organization but generally follows AKC rules. Participants can just be a group of individuals who train together or are sponsored by clubs. This year's event will be held from June 29 to June 30, 2024, at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL. 2. Sunshine Autumn Sieger

The International All-Breed Canine Association (IABCA) will hold a dog show at Florida Classic Park in Brooksville, FL this year. The event is scheduled for September 14 and 15, 2024. According to IABCA's website, the showgrounds will be outdoors on flat, open grass. Entries are limited to 240 dogs and the entry fee is $44.75/show. The IABCA says they strive for a relaxed, friendly, and flexible atmosphere.

3. AKC National Championship

Mark your calendar for the 2024 AKC National Championship, scheduled for December 14 and 15, 2024 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL. 4. Brandon Florida Kennel Club Dog Show

5. AKC ACT AGILITY

Mark your calendar for the AKC ACT AGILITY, a dog show that will be held by the Dog Training Club Of St. Petersburg on July 21st, 2024. The event, which will be held indoors in Air Conditioning, will take place at 4400-B 34th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL  33714. Any dog 15 months or older is welcome to participate, according to the event's page.

6. Calusa Dog Agility Club

Mark your calendar for the following Calusa Dog Agility Club dog shows that will take place at Bratty Paws Dog Plex in Punta Gorda, FL:

8. Bayside Pet Resorts' 2024 Dog Prom

Mark your calendar for Bayside Pet Resorts' 2024 Dog Prom, where you and your dog can strut your stuff together on the dance floor! The event will be held on October 19th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 801 Riverside Drive East, Bradenton, FL 34208. You are welcome to bring multiple well-behaved dogs to the event as long as each dog has up-to-date vaccinations. The ticket fee, which benefits the Humane Society of Manatee County, is $30 per person.
